Sweet, round treats filled with nuts and sweet bean paste and sometimes has an egg...I love mooncakes! D: The Mooncake Festival is celebrated by the Chinese every September, and I look forward to it every year! People give us mooncakes, for crying out loud D:...though I don't like the ones with an egg xD;;....
But anyway! Something has delayed its arrival this year, and that's because, according to my mom and the Chinese lunar calender, there's two Julys this year...don't ask me why, even my mother doesn't know. This in turn has delayed the coming of the mooncake T.T...it also means I might have to wait for another month. Dx
Of course, we can buy mooncakes all year-round in Chinatown, but there's nothing like enjoying it on the very occasion itself! It's a sacred tradition D:!
